I expect to be at Spring Fling by Thursday, Don’t know if it will be in the morning or Nite. Sorta depends on Ed S.’s plans. If he is going to take his time getting into the woods, then I will be up in the evening. Of course, If I get that extra Vacation Award from work, then I might go up Wed Nite. I plan to stay thru Monday if the weather holds.

Jeff P. was burning some stuff on the North 60, covered it up and came back the next day to check on it. When he stired it up, the wind blew flaming paper all over the field. He called the fire dept and about 5 different fire departments responded. Only the field got burned and no one was hurt, but he got fined. A litte bit of the burn got into the neighbors field but did not damage his equipment. The field has a very pretty black area, it looks like the original fire was next to the road in the black area closest to back of the field.

Kinda a boring fire.

Camped this weekend at the Cabin. Numerous people showed up to clean up the Cabin before Spring Fling. We burned the Pavilion Couch and lots of trash from in front of the shed. We melted some of the plastic gutter off of the pavilion. It turns out that the gutter was full of junk.
Jeff T. is planning to install an Information board at the entrance to the cabin. We will install cabin rules and info about what is planned. Jeff’s frend might bring some Sleepy Hollow Speed limit signs to post on the cabin road.

Eddie had lots of fun playing with David and catching critters. It got below freezing Saturday nite and they slept in the cabin which Uncle Paul kept the stove going to keep them warm. Eddie says that Uncle Paul snores.
